Prince Harry and Meghan visit Invictus Games winter training camp

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, spent time in Whistler during training camp for the Invictus Games, a sporting event that involves competition between veterans, who have acquired a permanent disability while serving or due to service, in various sporting disciplines. Canada will host the event in 2025. Spectators spent time chatting with and applauding the two men as the athletes tested the slopes at the Whistler Sliding Center. Prince Harry created the Games in 2014 following his deployment to Afghanistan.
