The classroom of Senate voted for the confidence granted by the government to the legislative decree urgent provisions for sports, educational support for disabled studentsfor the regular start of the 2024/2025 school year and concerning universities and research. The measure, which received the green light with 98 “yes”, 70 “no” and one abstentionhad already been approved by Room on July 17th, with 174 votes in favour, 123 against and 5 abstentions.
In the part under the responsibility of the Minister of Sports and Youth, Andrea Abodi – we read in a note – The decree contains several interventions, including: the expected provisions for the elections of the presidents of sports federations who intend to run for a fourth term, the creation of an independent Commission for the verification of the economic and financial balance of professional sports clubs also to protect fair competition, the recognition of a flat-rate reimbursement for sports volunteers.
It is also expected that the ONAD Italy, or theanti-doping organization in Italyhas legal personality which “independent technical agency”.
