The pro-Palestinian student march returns to Pisa, those injured by batons absent: slogans against Israel – Video

Pisa high school students returned to the procession, a week after clashes with the police during the unauthorized pro-Palestinian procession. The organizers speak of around 5,000 people who marched in Pisa, behind banners which read: “Pisa in the square against bombs and batons” and “Pisa is not afraid”. During the procession, slogans were brandished against Israel, defined as a “fascist and terrorist state”. Local representatives of the Democratic Party and other center-left parties also march, including the president of the province, Massimiliano Angori.

The 11 minor students injured on February 23 during the clashes with the henhouse were absent from the procession, on the advice of their lawyers, as explained by Corriere della Sera. Besides politicians and high school students, there are also football fans in Pisa. The police follow the procession at a distance of 50 meters from the head and tail of the procession.
