“For me, thinking about the future means acting now because the present is the only time we can do something.” Sammy Basso seemed at first glance to be a very old man. He suffered from progeria, a very rare disease that causes premature aging of the body. Despite his illness, Sammy obtained his diploma and founded an association with his family to support people affected by this pathology. Domenico Iannacone met him in 2019 for the show “Che ci fa qui”. A way of thinking and looking at others beyond physical nature.
