“I will give up because of the infamy of a few”: the fatal anger of Giorgia Meloni against the elected representatives of the Brothers of Italy

The Prime Minister is furious about the leak of information about the judge's vote at the Constitutional Court. Then he threatens: “I will no longer have relations with the parliamentary groups. Very discouraging.” He teased her about late trains in chat

It's all the fault of one conversation. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni cannot tolerate that the internal communications of Fratelli d'Italia parliamentarians end up in the newspapers. And yet another publication, which this time concerned the call for the election of a new judge to the Constitutional Court, ended up causing it to explode. And a few hours later, he spoke out on the spot: “Eventually, I will give up because of this. Why not live this life to get these people elected. » And then: “The infamy of a few forces me not to have relations with groups (parliamentary, editor's note). Very discouraging.” Last year, the Prime Minister often showed himself angry against his allies, but also against the ministers of his government, as happened with Gennaro Sangiuliano. And of course also for the events of his sister Arianna.

The infamy of a few

But the excesses against parliamentarians, reported today by Daily factthey are not new. Since the election victory, there have been many. And all focused on the same subject: escape. Because Meloni is convinced that the mole who broadcasts the communications is one or more FdI elected officials. And interpret the decision to send one screenshot to the newspapers more or less as a betrayal. Yesterday the day began at 11:30 a.m. with the convening of the group leaders of the Chamber and Senate Tommaso Foti and Lucio Malan. “Attention, Tuesday October 8, 12:30 p.m., everyone’s presence to vote for the Constitutional Court is essential. Any mission must be postponed or canceled”, is the message. What also happens in the same minutes in the discussions of the other majority parties, Lega and Forza Italia. The last seven votes have failed. Everyone hopes that the eighth will be the Good.

The vote for the Consulta

Majority agreement on the name was reached. In the running were the legal advisor to Prime Minister Francesco Saverio Marini and the secretary general of Palazzo Chigi Carlo Deodato. A few minutes later, this same message is found on the sites. And the Prime Minister gets angry. At 4:17 p.m., he wrote in the parliamentarians' chat, even threatening to resign: “Ultimately, I will give up because of this. Why not live this life to elect these people. » Who is he angry with? With the elected official who obviously sent the message in chat, explains Giacomo Salvini. And that landed him in the headlines. Other government officials immediately arrive for comment. Undersecretary of the Interior Wanda Ferro is sympathetic: “I imagine how you feel.” Paola Frassinetti: “I remain speechless and with a lot of anger and disappointment”.

“It doesn’t change the nature of things”

Guido Crosetto also arrives: “Well, but I think that with a little work we can find the infamous one.” And Meloni then responds: “It’s obvious. You think I don’t already know that? But that doesn't change the nature of things. » While MP Salvatore Deidda is frightened by the threat of resignation: “I hope that whoever did it will make amends and understand that he is harming us on a daily basis.” But the Prime Minister also replied: “But what a fine, there are people who sell their mothers for a quote in the newspaper. I just don't understand how they can stay with us who have always been the complete opposite. That said, I'm going to shut up before anything comes out of here. » And indeed, this is happening.

He taunted Salvini

After further disagreements, the tone drops. And parliamentarians make fun of Matteo Salvini for the poor public transport service. “Anyway, have you noticed how the transportation between me and Galeazzo works? Impeccable”, writes the president of the Transport Commission Salvatore Deidda. Meloni does not understand the irony at first. Then he jokes: “Ah yes, the blocking of the line. But I am rather very satisfied. I thought that we would go back on mules and instead there are still trains after two years.” And he receives a shower of likes. MP Marco Osnato concludes: “Everything to avoid people saying that “the trains arrive on time”! Well done, brilliant strategy…”.
