Chilean wingsuit specialist Sebastian Alvarez combined two of his favourite hobbies, skydiving and surfing, to make the first combined jump between the two disciplines on Abu Dhabi's Hudayriyat Island.
Alvarez boarded a helicopter at 12,000 feet to “land” at Surf Abu Dhabi and surf a 7-foot artificial wave.
The acrobatic feat dates back to December 19, but the video was only published today, a few days before the first professional surfing competition organized by the Emirati establishment on September 27, 28 and 29.
