“Now, if you have the courage, give me the gun. Do it in front of me.” These are the cries of Senator Maurizio Gasparri in the Senate, in the story told by the Dire agency. While the news of high school student Righi, who in the class mimed pointing a gun at the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, is already known, it is the president of Forza Italia who goes to the office of Gaetano Nastri (FdI) at the Palazzo Madam, the main commissioner. Inside are the professor who accompanied the students and the boy in question. Nastri, together with Police Commissioner Antonio De Poli (UDC), proposes a letter of apology sent to the Prime Minister and the President of the Senate. But Gasparri, although the agreement is reaching failures , does not hold back. “Put the gun in my face,” said the senator to the sixteen-year-old student. The boy does not get angry, he repeats the gesture. And the senator, Dire reports, responds: “ I talk to you as if you were my son, I hope you grow up to be better than you are now.” The teacher, who almost faints in front of the boy who does not give in, asks for water . The young man then apologized, but did not deny the gesture. “I will apologize in a letter, but I will not reconsider my dissent, because I will not change my mind. The apology will only concern the gesture itself, which comes from the history of Autonomia Operaia,” he said today in an interview with Repubblica.
