A baby girl was born on board the plane, the daughter of a Jordanian couple who were traveling on the WizzAir flight from Amman to London. It was 1:47am last night when the captain was forced to make an emergency landing in Brindisi, after the 38-year-old began experiencing severe pain. With her husband, also a 51-year-old Jordanian, they informed the flight attendants and the emergency procedure was then triggered. It was clear that the woman was going to give birth, so the captain landed the plane at the first possible stop. Once they arrived on the Brindisi runway, an 118 ambulance was already waiting for the woman, but the health workers did not have time to take her to the hospital: the little girl was born on board the plane, assisted by the hostesses and Stewart. and a few passengers. The little girl, born at seven months old, was then taken to Perrino Hospital with her mother. Both are in good condition.
