Cpr in Albania, the government approves the decree-law on safe countries for the repatriation of migrants

This is the reaction of Meloni and his allies, who reached the first useful meeting of the Council of Ministers, against the decision of the judge of Rome not to validate the detention of migrants in the center of Gjader

The Council of Ministers – which opened without the agenda being communicated externally – approved the decree-law on migrants announced by Giorgia Meloni. This is the immediate reaction to the decision of the judge of the Court of Rome who, by not validating the detention of certain migrants in the Gjader center because they came from countries considered dangerous, meant that the 12 people from Egypt and Bangladesh were repatriated. from Albania to Italy. THE'Handle writes that the decree adopted by the government “should make the indication of safe countries for repatriation a primary norm, and no longer secondary, as is on the contrary the decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in concert with those of the 'Interior and Justice, with which until now the list has been updated every year'. The operation therefore aimed to “protect” the use of hotspots in Albania from court decisions by transferring the list of 22 countries considered safe from the interministerial decree of the Farnesina, of the Ministry of the Interior and Justice towards an ad hoc decree, which becomes the primary norm.
