The Castrovillari prosecutor's office has requested 23 years in prison for Isabella Internò, ex-girlfriend of Donato Denis Bergaminithe footballer from Cosenza, who died on November 18, 1989. According to the prosecutor, the woman was the instigator and participated with others in the murder of the then 27-year-old, whose body was found along the state road 106 in Roseto Capo Spulico.
The magistrate requested general mitigating circumstances for the woman, and therefore a sentence of 23 years instead of life imprisonment, since 35 years have passed since the crime. The woman, who was not in the courtroom, is accused of voluntary homicide aggravated by premeditation and trivial motives in collaboration with unknown persons.
