“He who can be kind lives better”

Does kindness make you feel better? According to Giorgio Landoni, psychoanalyst, yes, it helps you feel better, but “we could turn the question around and say if we feel better, are we nice? Both things apply. Undoubtedly those who manage to be kind live better. By kindness, I mean not clothing, anyone who wants to sell something necessarily does it better if they are nice, but an internal, ethical situation, where we bring under control this infinite love of ourselves which is at the bottom of the human spirit and submit it to the necessity of the social bond without which we cannot reach the level of human beings.

Landoni spoke in Palermo, where 4 days of meetings and debates took place between Italian and international experts, representatives and inspirations of the Movement from all over the world, from Italy to the United States, from Canada to Switzerland, from UK to India and up to Nigeria. The goal was to talk about kindness as a useful tool for society. The 11th Assembly of the Global Kindness Movement was held under the slogan “Kindness will change the world”.
