This morning, the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, a delegation from Inter and Milan – represented by the managers and properties of the Clubs, Oaktree Capital and Redbird Capital Partners – and the Superintendent Emanuela Carpani, were received by the Minister of Entertainment Alessandro Giuli. Palazzo Marino made this known in a statement, explaining that the Minister of Sports and Youth Andrea Abodi also participated in the meeting.

According to what the municipality reports, during the meeting “the hypothesis of the construction of the new Milan stadium in San Siro, the development of the surrounding areas, as well as the guidelines for the refunctionalization of the Meazza stadium, already shared with Superintendent Carpanier “. On the part of all interlocutors “there was appreciation and satisfaction. The Clubs will soon present the useful expression of interest following the procedure. In the meantime, we await the evaluation of the Agency of Recipes to have the necessary framework for an overall assessment”, we can read in the note.
