The five circles challenge is launched, Riccardo Pianosi did it from Torre Grande beach in Oristano where the European Kitesurfing Championships took place. He is the new continental champion and he dreams with his eyes open: he cannot help but do it because in the waters of Marseille for the 2024 Games he stopped at the foot of the podium and the step towards the next Olympic event cannot fail to include the word “medal”.
In Torre Grande, with the Mistral, the specialty girls, under 21 and under 17, also took off. No medal for the Italians (the podium speaks Polish, French and Greek) but several interesting ideas, especially from a national point of view. In the golden age of world sailing (Luis Vuitton Cup, Barcolana, America's Cup), the Oristano races shone thanks also to the Mistral, which arrived tense on the racing fields in the post- noon.
