Today, Parliament names RAI board of directors, opposition divided

Today, the Chambers are expected to vote on the four members appointed by Parliament to the Rai Board of Directors, while the Treasury is expected to designate the CEO and the president who will be submitted to the Council of Ministers.

The majority continues the renewal of the top management of Rai and is open to the opposition's request to quickly implement the reform of public television. A move applauded by the M5 and the Avs, who for this reason confirm their participation in the vote for the four councilors appointed by parliament with the declared objective of not leaving the field open to the Meloni government.

The Democratic Party, however, after a day of meetings, dissolved the reserve during the meeting of the House and Senate groups, where Secretary Elly Schlein reiterated the choice not to vote because – she explained – “there is no reason to renew the Board of Directors, given that they already control RAI.
