The animator of a tourist village in Salento is 17 years old and is being investigated for alleged sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl. The incident allegedly took place on July 10 in a tourist village in Torre dell'Orso, in the marina of Melendugno, in the province of Lecce. The little girl, on vacation in Puglia with her family, confided in her mother and aunt. He told them that he had had completely non-consensual sex with the animator of the tourist village. And then he complained of intense pain in his private parts.
The “pink protocol” in the hospital
The family then called 118, which triggered the “pink protocol”. The girl was taken to the Santa Caterina Novella hospital in Galatina for tests. The 12-year-old was then examined by a pediatrician and a gynecologist. She was then joined at the clinic by a social worker and a manager of the anti-violence center. The report was then sent to the juvenile prosecutor's office in Lecce.

Investigators have already interviewed the 17-year-old indicted for the alleged violence. The boy reportedly denied the information, explaining that he never knew the girl's real age. The relationship between them, according to the 17-year-old, was consensual. The 12-year-old was taken to the Melendugno barracks, accompanied by a psychologist. The army took his testimony and seized the girl's clothes. Footage from the tourist village's security cameras was also acquired.
