Jorit's lawyer: “I never took a cent from the Russian government.” Controversy of the Neapolitan writer after the Linkiesta article

Lawyer Massimo Pinardi wrote to Open on behalf of his client Ciro Cerullo, aka Jorit, to claim that his client “never received even a cent from the government of the Russian Federation”, contrary to what is claimed in an article from Linkiesta, which Open had cited in an article, according to which the writer Jorit had received a sum of 90,000 euros from a company controlled by the Russian Ministry of Construction to create ten murals in the areas of Ukraine occupied by the Russian army.

I can only take note of the words of the lawyer of Jorit, the writer who has been much talked about in recent days due to his direct confrontation with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Sochi Youth Festival. On this occasion, Putin agreed to take a selfie with him. Open has nothing against Jorit: he may not share some of his ideas, but he is well aware that Italy is fortunately a free country where everyone can say what they think, even on the Putin's Russia.
